Zisters show their support for community partner Women’s Breast and Heart Initiative (WBHI)
The WBHI’s third annual Pink Walk took place on Sunday September 29 at Aventura Mall. The funds raised during the two-mile walk were matched by Aventura Mall and donated to WBHI to support the organization’s efforts to save and change lives by providing at-risk women with the prevention and early detection education necessary to beat breast cancer and heart disease.
Zisters Joyce, Maria, Sally, Peggy and Marie showed their support by participating. Registration began at 7 a.m., followed by an 8 a.m. warm-up led by Equinox Gym. Upon completion of the walk, our Zisters received a medal for supporting the WBHI's overall fundraising goal of $25,000.
