Ida Snow Award
 
The Ida Snow Award is given to Zonta’s Outstanding Current Member and is named in honor of the club’s first president and founder of Snow’s Jewelry, Mrs. Ida Snow. Ida along with her husband Edward their jewelry store with $600, a few display cases, a small safe, and the family dining room table as the main showcase.  Matriarch of the Snow Family, Ida Snow was surrounded by her family when she passed away peacefully on November 25th, 2011.

Community Heroine Award
 
The Community Heroine Award is given to a member of our community has engaged in service that supports the lives of women and girls. These are the women who dedicate their time to making sure that the communities that we live in are a safer, and more equitable place for the future generations. This is our club's opportunity to recognize women who empower, inspire and work towards women's equity. Each year's recipeient selects a charity that they would like the Zonta Club of Miami Lakes to make a $500 donation.
