It has been a trying year for all, but we recognize that for many seniors there was an increases risk of loneliness, missing of loved ones and a need a bit of extra joy right now. The ZCML kept its commitment to our community and came together to create unique and fun Christmas stockings for seniors.
We are thankful for our ZCML zisters that helped to make this holiday a little bit brighter for our senior neighbors by contributing to our Stockings for Seniors project. Usually our volunteers are able give hugs and show some love when distributing the stockings. This year we had to simply drop them off without much fan fair.Hopefully, we can talk in person to our senior neighbors and better share in the Christmas Spirit. Thank you to all of our volunteers and to everyone who donated to our program.
