The Zonta Club of Miami Lakes continued its support of the Pace Center for Girls in Miami via an annual donation and scholarship award. Ladies are asked to wear their finest hats to the Zonta Club of Miami Lakes’ Kentucky Derby Casino Gala scheduled for May 7 at the Miami Lakes Hotel on Main.
The event will benefit Lotus House, the Women's Breast & Heart Initiative and the club’s efforts to end violence against women. Tickets are $125. Guests will enjoy live casino games – craps, blackjack, roulette, Texas hold ‘em, slots -- as well as a raffle and silent auction. There will be unlimited wine served along with hors d’oeuvres and food stations. And there will be dancing to a DJ, too.
