Incoming Vice President recognized for her hard work!
Congratulations to the 2020 recipient of the Ida Snow Award- Maria Martinez. The Ida Snow Award is given to Zonta’s Outstanding Current Member and is named in honor of the club’s first president and founder of Snow's Jewelers, Mrs. Ida Snow.
No one is surprised that Maria was selected for this honor. Since joining ZCML, Maria jumped right in to be as active as possible. She took on many leadership roles including coordinating the 2019 and 2020 annual gala. She is also always willing to support our partner organizations; she helped build a home for habitat for humanity, walked for breast cancer and helped at the WHBI annual golf tournament.
Maria's award celebration took place during the June General Meeting that was held virtually due to Covid- 19.
