Human Trafficking highlighted during November General Meeting

  • this $32 billion dollar organized crime industry in the United States can only be combated by a coordinated effort that engages our entire community 


These facts were just part of the information shared by Attorney XX name TBA XXX and Victims' Specialist Tanya Gennusa from the Miami- Dade County State Attorneys Office Sex Trafficking Unit during our November general meeting. This important presentation highlighted how human trafficking occurs in plain sight- 365 days a year. The concerted efforts across various agencies to plan for the expected influx of sex traffickers associated with the Superbowl coming this February to Miami was showcased. ZCML members were able to have an engaging discussion with our guests about how we can combat human trafficking at the individual and chapter levels.
